WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT NATS OPENING DAY

Getting excited for baseball season!

Both the Nats and O's open the season on Thursday. The Nationals host the Mets, and the Orioles will be in Boston to play the Red Sox.

The Nationals are allowing 5,000 fans to attend games. Unfortunately only fans with a season ticket plan are able to attend games at this point.

A lot of teams have very limited capacity to start the season including the Red Sox (4,500 fans), Mets (4,200), Blue Jays (1,275) and Tigers (1,000).

First pitch for the Nationals will be Thursday night at 7:09 and will air on ESPN. The opener is the start to a three-game series against the Mets with the other games being Saturday at 4:05 and Sunday at 1:05
