A firefighter in West Springfield, Virginia, conducted an unusual rescue when he was able to pull a small dog out of a ceiling.
The dog somehow managed to get itself trapped inside of a heating and air conditioning duct and firefighter Mark Williams had to figure out where exactly the dog was and coax him out into the open.
He did just that, cutting a hole in the ceiling and then gently reaching in and bringing the pup out.
Other than being a little jittery after getting itself into such a tight spot, the dog recovered quickly and was back to normal. And, Mark was celebrated on Facebook by the Fairfax County Fire and Rescue Department for his good deed.
