Phil Collins was rushed to the hospital last night in London after he fell as he was walking to the bathroom in his hotel room.
A spokesperson says Collins tripped on his way to the toilet and cut his forehead on a chair. An ambulance rushed him to the hospital where he remains today.
As a result, his shows tonight and tomorrow at London's Royal Albert Hall have been postponed.
A statement from his rep explains, "He was taken to hospital where he had stitches for a severe gash on his head close to his eye and is recovering well. He will be kept under observation for 24 hours. Phil sends his sincere apologies and thanks to fans. He has had a fantastic week at his first shows in 10 years, cannot thank people enough for their warm reaction and is excited to return."
We're not sure if Collins will resume his tour this weekend in Germany.
Collins suffers from some health problems and has difficulty walking. He mostly sits during his shows.
I was fortunate enough to speak with Phil Collins a few months ago. You can check out the interview below.
