A British man is celebrating a possible Guinness World Record for his pub crawl.
Matt Ellis claims Guinness officials told him there is no world record for most pubs visited in 12 hours, so they set the goal to originate the record at 50.
Ellis visited 51 bars in 8 hours, 52 minutes and 37 seconds.
Ellis had witnesses with him at each stop and he consumed at least 4.2 ounces of some beverage at each bar.
The evidence has been submitted to Guinness World Records for official certification.
