Olympic Athletes told to Not Use Free Condoms

Knowing what goes on in Olympic Village when athletes aren't competing, organizers have been distributing free condoms to participants since 1988's Seoul Games in South Korea. While the upcoming games in Tokyo will be no different, Japanese officials are telling the athletes to take the prophylactics home as souvenirs -- and ordering them tonotuse them while in Tokyo.

The official rules for the upcoming games call for athletes to "avoid unnecessary forms of physical contact," which includes having sex with other participants, organizers say.

The announcement comes after the Tokyo Olympic Committee banned thin polyurethane condoms, which are reportedly more pleasurable for the wearer, in favor of thick latex versions.

Do you expect one single athlete to abide by this rule?
