'Harry Potter' Star Helen McCrory Dies at 52

British actress Helen McCrory -- the star of "Peaky Blinders" and three "Harry Potter" films -- has died after a "heroic" battle with cancer, her husband announced Friday. She was only 52 years old.

"Heartbroken to announce that after an heroic battle with cancer, the beautiful and might woman that is Helen McCrory has died peacefully at home, surrounded by a wave of love from friends and family," actor Damian Lewis tweeted. "She died as she lived. Fearlessly. God we love her and know how lucky we are to have had her in our lives. She blazed so brightly. Go now, Little One, into the air, and thank you."

After making her film debut in 1992's "Interview with a Vampire," McCrory racked up several acting awards in the U.K. before landing a role as Bellatrix Lestrange in 2007's "Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix." Although she was forced to back out of the role due to a pregnancy, she was recast as Bellatrix's sister in the last three films of the franchise. In addition to the acclaimed series "Peaky Blinders," McCrory appeared in the James Bond flick "Skyfall."

Which role will McCrory be best remembered for?
