ROLLING STONES: BEHIND-THE-SCENES LOOK AT MAKING OF 'ANGRY'

The Rolling Stones have released a behind the scenes look at the making of the video for "Angry," the first single off their new album, Hackney Diamonds.

In it, director François Rousselet says he got the idea for billboards of the Stones on Hollywood's Sunset Strip coming to life from the 2016 book, Rock 'n' Roll Billboards of the Sunset Strip by Robert Landau.

His goal was to "put into perspective how great they have been through the decades.”

The video also contains an interview with 26-year old actress Sydney Sweeney who is seen gyrating to the song while being driven down the Sunset Strip on the back of a red 1980s Mercedes 450 SL.

Rousselet says she was chosen because she's "one of the cool, new faces of this generation,” having recently starred as Olivia Mossbacher in season one of The White Lotus, as well as her role as Snake in director Quentin Tarantino’s 2019 movie, Once Upon a Time in Hollywood.

A second single, "Sweet Sounds of Heaven," featuring Lady Gaga and Stevie Wonder, will be out this Wednesday at 10am.
