I've been a fan of Olympic gymnast Dominique Dawes for decades, so it was truly a treat to have her on the show!

I was lucky enough to be in Atlanta for the 1996 Summer Olympic Games when Dominique and her 'Magnificent Seven' teammates won the gold medal.

Dominique was born and raised in Montgomery County, MD. After retiring from elite gymnastics, she has made it her mission to change the toxic culture of gymnastics. In the past few years we have become all too aware of the abuses in the sport.

Dominique now has two gymnastics academies in Montgomery County. The Clarksburg location has been open since 2020. She just opened the Rockville location of the Dominique Dawes Gymnastics Academy & Ninja and is hosting a grand opening celebration this weekend. Details below.
