Ozzy opens the song, recorded in London at Abbey Road Studios, with two -minutes-and-40-seconds of narration as he reads letters written by British soldiers during World War One.

Mason says, "It's an honor and a delight to be asked to play on this record… I mean, what's not to like? My favorite recording studio, the opportunity to work with great artists on a wonderful track — and for the most worthy cause… Oh, and complimentary lunch in the Abbey Road canteen!"

And Taylor, who recently revealed has prostate cancer, says, “The underlying sense of community and diversity that runs through the DNA of musicians, comes together here on the most beautiful of songs. Music has always been my pleasure and sometimes it’s a privilege, a privilege to work with such an incredible group of people, to create a wonderful track, and, as a recipient of The Big C hopefully we can prick a tad of awareness towards the incredible work of The Evamore Project.” (Evamore was founded to create a unique way of supporting the profile and fundraising efforts of charities.)

Available to download and stream this Friday, you can listen to it now on The Cancer Platform website -- TheCancerPlatform.com.
