LISA'S ANIMAL TALES: 4,000 BEAGLES RESCUED IN VIRGINIA

A plan is in place to move four-thousand beagles from a Virginia breeding and research facility.

The Humane Society of the United States is set to remove the dogs over a two-month period and transfer them to animal shelters and rescue organizations across the country.

The facility will pay fees for each beagle sent to shelters, with the Humane Society paying the transportation costs. The dogs were taken after over 70 violations of the Animal Welfare Act at the facility.
