Gorilla Glue has gotten a bunch of press lately, and not exactly for a good reason. Tessica Brown went viral after she used Gorilla Glue Spray Adhesive in her hair, and needed surgery to have it removed.
Now, there's apparently a new thing called the #GorillaGlueChallenge involving using the very strong glue to stick things to your body and it has to be one of the dumbest things ever.
Lee Martin of Louisiana thought Brown's story was fabricated so she could get fame and fortune. So he decides to make a video showing that Gorilla Glue is not as bad as it's made out to be by glueing a plastic Solo cup to his mouth and "licking it off."
Well, it turns out, Gorilla Glue really is really strong.
Martin ends up having to go to the Emergency Room because you guessed it, he can't get the cup off his face. There, they had to "painfully" peel it off his mouth.
"Now they talking bout cutting the tip of my lips off in surgery...yall pray for me #gorrilagluechallenge smh," he wrote in a follow-up.
"I didn't think it was that serious, that Gorilla Glue did all of that. I was trying to show people that it wasn't as serious as she was making it to be.
"I put Gorilla Glue in a cup, placed it on my mouth for a few seconds and started to lick it off, but that didn't work."
