Dude Deliberately Drives His 1995 Chevy Lumina Around Inside a Supermarket

Police have identified and arrested the individual they believe was at the center of a hectic event that took place Thursday.

At around 5:50pm, calls were made to 911 after a man deliberately drove his 1995 Chevy Lumina inside the Super One Foods grocery store in Columbia Falls, Montana. Videos uploaded to social media show the vehicle entering the store and wreaking havoc inside, knocking over shelves.

One witness said, "Complete panic broke out, everyone was screaming and running. It was just survival mode, I guess, to get the heck out of there."

Multiple police departments responded to the situation, but the driver had fled by the time officers arrived.

A short time later, a vehicle matching the description was found near a storage facility and it appeared the driver had crashed into a trailer and fled on foot.

Police managed to detain a suspect, 50-year-old Alan Connor Jr. a short time later after he "managed to run through the halls of a local nursing home."

A spokesperson for the police says Connor showed signs of drug impairment at the time he was placed under arrest.

Luckily, no one was harmed in the supermarket or as a result of the entire ordeal.

The staff of the supermarket says the community came together to clean up and help repair some of the damage caused by Connor and they were able to open the next day.

Although the mess was cleaned up, tire marks were still visible on the floors.
