A burglar in Argentina got himself into a bit of trouble for not just attempting theft but for getting himself trapped in the homeowner's yard.
A pair of thieves in a suburb of Buenos Aires jumped a man's fence at night in order to steal two gas cylinders but one of them ended up with a bonus prize: a beating with a shovel.
CCTV footage shows one of the burglars handing the cylinders over to his friend waiting on the other side of the fence. When the burglar who was inside the yard tries to climb the fence to escape, he accidentally knocks the ladder away on the opposite side of the fence. Also by this time, a dog is barking at the thieves, alerting its owner.
The trapped man desperately tries to climb over without the ladder but falls to the ground at the same time the homeowner arrives with a shovel in-hand.
The burglar receives a few whacks to various parts of his body from the enraged homeowner. He eventually managed to flee.
Both of the suspects are still on the loose. The two gas cylinders were later found dumped nearby.
