This Obi-Wan Vs Vader Fight Re-Imagination Will Hit You Right in the Feels

All of the changes that have been made to the original Star Wars movies have been rather divisive between fans of the franchise. Han shoots first, Vader's "NOOOOO" and the added Jabba the Hutt scene in A New Hope are some of the changes that have pissed people off.

Regardless on how you feel about all of the edits, if you watch all of the Star Wars films as a collective, one thing that sticks out that they haven't tried to fix is the lackluster lightsaber fight between Darth Vader and Obi-Wan Kenobi in A New Hope. Don't get me wrong, the fight itself isn't bad in its original context, it's just that we've been spoiled by the incredible choreography of later lightsaber fights in the prequels and sequels.

Well, the YouTube channel FIXitinPost took it upon themselves to make the Obi-Wan/Vader duel look up to snuff with the latter movies. And after watching it, we prefer to remember the fight this way from now on, thank you very much.

It's not perfect by any means. Obviously it's a lot easier to add in parts of Darth Vader because it's just a dude in a costume, but adding footage of an actor like Alec Guinness who played Kenobi and has been dead for almost 20 years is a bit of a challenge. It's pretty obvious Guinness' face is pasted on to the actor in the clip but we imagine a YouTube channel doesn't have the budget that the movie studio that brought Tarkin and Leia back to life via CGI in Rogue One has.

But for what it is, we'll gladly take this. And now I'm wondering if I'm enjoying this too much because of how bad the new Star Wars films are sans Rogue One.
