It's So Cold in Chicago They're Lighting Train Tracks on Fire (VIDEO)

Wind chills in Chicago have touched the -50°F mark and in order to keep commuter trains running smoothly, the tracks are being set on fire. The Chicago River is almost completely frozen over and the city is practically shut down over fears of frostbite affecting skin exposed for seconds outside. The city, which is used to dealing with cold temperatures, has cancelled Post Office service, cancelled school, and cancelled most flights and trains.
