It's no mystery that some news channels do whatever is necessary to make things seem more serious than they actually are for those sweet, sweet ratings. And The Weather Channel just got caught embellishing Hurricane Florence in the most hilarious way possible.
Weather dude is out there in the storm and looks like he's struggling to keep both of his feet on the ground and not get swept away into the hurricane where no one will ever find his remains. But then you see two dudes casually walk by in the background like it's no big deal.
Okay, we understand no one would really want to be standing outside on the edge of a category 5 storm for their own safety, but come on man. Dude operating the camera even pans out to make sure everyone can see the two guys walking along.
