Seriously, why is Tim Tebow still playing baseball? Last year he hit .226 in Single-A and High-A in the New York Mets minor league system. I have no idea what Single-A and High-A are, but after a quick Google, I found out that they're pretty much the two levels above Rookie Ball. At this point it seems like the only reason Tebow is still playing is because he sells tickets.
Enter Max Scherzer, the reigning NL Cy Young pitcher. He threw a few innings in Spring Training today (March 2) and lo and behold, Tim Tebow steps to the plate. The result is predictable. Tebow heads back to the dugout before he can even settle in at the plate.
