WASHINGTON COMMANDERS PLAYERS AND COACHES TAKE PART IN NFL’S MY CAUSE, MY CLEATS CAMPAIGN 75+ Commanders players, coaches, and team executives to wear custom cleats representing the cause of their choice during the team’s Week 13 matchup at the New York Giants LANDOVER, Md., November 30, 2022- As part of the NFL’s My Cause, My Cleats campaign, more than 75 Washington Commanders players and coaches created custom cleats and sneakers to raise awareness for initiatives and causes they are passionate about. Players will have the opportunity to wear their cleats on Sunday, December 4 during the team’s Week 13 away matchup against the New York Giants, the league’s official designated My Cause, My Cleats game. Additionally, this past Sunday, November 27, the team also showcased custom select cleats on display in Legends Plaza and on suite levels throughout FedExField. Bidding is now open HERE and will close on Wednesday, December 14.

The NFL’s annual My Cause, My Cleats initiative is a collaborative effort between the NFL and players across the league to raise awareness for philanthropic organizations and movements by wearing unique cleats. The My Cause, My Cleats campaign helps fans learn more about NFL players, the issues they stand for beyond football, and the work they are doing to support these causes, ultimately fostering a greater sense of connection with fans around a shared passion for social issues.

This season, Washington Commanders players will represent causes including cancer and disease awareness and prevention, gun violence prevention, animal justice, military support, and more.
