Smithsonian will make some major shifts to their operations this week.
Starting today, several museums and the National Zoo are following a new schedule. It includes the National Museum of African American History and the National Museum of American History that are opening only five-days a week. Some museums will remain open everyday while others, including the Zoo will be open from Thursday through Sunday.
Visitors might also notice some exhibition spaces closed and limited entrances. More information can be found on Smithsonian's website here.
