PET FOOD RECALL AFTER 70 DOGS DIE

Midwestern Pet Foods is recalling a number of its products after seventy dogs died and 80 became sickened.

The company says all products containing corn that expires on or before July of 2022, could contain deadly levels of a mold by-product called aflatoxin.

The FDA says the mold can be present even if it's not visible, so pet owners are encouraged to throw the food away.

Among the brands affected is the Sportmix pet food products.
