George Harrison is the subject of a deluxe photo book coming in September.
Be Here Now draws from the work of the late photographer Barry Feinstein. A longtime friend of the Quiet Beatle, these images were taken while he was recording his first three-post Beatles albums — 1970's All Things Must Pass, 1971's The Concert For Bangladesh, and 1973's Living in the Material World. Feinstein captured Harrison at home, in his garden, onstage, and in the studio. Almost all the images have never been published.
There are also copies of handwritten letters on album ideas, cover art and plans for the Concert for Bangladesh-- where Feinstein was the only sanctioned photographer onstage.
Once married to singer Mary Travers, and later to comic actress Carol Wayne, Feinstein died in 2011.
Be Here Now goes on sale September 29th, and you can pre-order it here.
