Eric Clapton has revisited his 1992 hit, "Tears in Heaven," playing acoustic guitar and providing vocals to a version done by Maro, a 23-year old artist from Lisbon, Portugal.
It was done for her Calling project that was started in response to the Coronavirus Pandemic. A graduate of Boston's Berklee College of Music, she began reaching out to other musicians to invite them to perform with her.
The performance is featured on the Turn Up For Recovery YouTube channel.
Turn Up -- an addiction service started by Clapton's wife, Melia -- organizes fundraising gigs and events to bring people together to talk about abstinence-based recovery and raise funds to help provide treatment at Eric's Crossroads Antigua Centre for those in need.
