BILLY JOEL: SONG SYNCHED WITH LIGHT SHOW AT EMPIRE STATE BUILDING (Video)

Billy Joel, Sting, Bon Jovi, Mariah Carey, Alicia Keys, Lin-Manuel Miranda and Idina Menzel were among the perfomers on the Robin Hood: Rise Up New York special Monday night.

Mariah Carey opened the broadcast with a medley of "Through the Rain" and "Make It Happen."

Sting sang "Message in a Bottle" over a pre-recorded track.

Lin-Manuel Miranda,Idina Menzel, Ben Platt and Andrew Rannells were among the Broadway performers who sang "New York, New York."

Alicia Keys performed her new single "Good Job."

Bon Jovi did a slowed down acoustic version of "It's My Life."

Billy Joel closed the show by performing a solo piano version of "Miami 2017," which was synced to a light show atop the Empire State Building (video below).

The show was hosted by Tina Fey and included appearances by Mike Diamond and Adam Horovitz of Beastie Boys, RZA of Wu-Tang Clan, Darryl "DMC" McDaniels of Run-DMC, Robert De Niro, Jessica Chastain, Jennifer Lopez, Sarah Jessica Parker, Matthew Broderick, Barbara Streisand, Bette Midler, Chris Rock, Jake Gyllenhaal, Jimmy Fallon, Spike Lee, Trevor Noah, Eli Manning, Michael Strahan, Phil Simms, Justin Tuck and Awkwafina.

More than $115-million was raised during the broadcast. Proceeds are going to Robin Hood's relief and recovery efforts in New York City.
