Paul McCartney's face has been seen everywhere from concert posters to lunch boxes.
But a recent image spotted in Britain might be the weirdest one ever tied to him.
A pothole near Lancashire, England bears a resemblance to Sir Paul. Once local highway workers added gravel around its perimeter, it gave the hole the look of a young, bearded McCartney. Scattered stones also seem to serve as eyes, eyebrows and his mouth.
Quickly, the responses began taking a Beatle attitude: One person joked, "Why is no-one 'Fixing a Hole'?" Another referenced "A Day in the Life," asking if "this is one of the 4000 holes in Blackburn, Lancashire?"
