Gregg Allman was honored at Wednesday's CMT Awards, the first major awards show televised since his death.
Former Allman Brothers Band guitarist Derek Trucks joined forces with country stars Charles Kelley, Darius Rucker and Jason Aldean to open the show with a version of the Allman's "Midnight Rider."
Trucks wasn't the only classic rocker on hand. Peter Frampton teamed up with the Brothers Osborne for an outdoor performance of the Brothers' latest single, "It Ain't My Fault."
It's nice to see a televised tribute to Gregg, even if it was on a country music awards show.
