A Lynyrd Skynyrd bio-pic starts shooting in L.A. on Monday.
Based on the account of drummer Artimus Pyle, Street Survivors: The True Story of the Lynyrd Skynyrd Plane Crash features no big names other than some of the musicians portrayed in it.
Steven Tyler is being played by Neill Byrnes of an Aerosmith tribute band called Draw the Line.
A week before the October 1977 plane crash that took the lives of three members of Skynyrd, Aerosmith checked the plane out and decided against leasing it due to safety fears.
