A lot of people have trouble pronouncing 'Maryland.'
James Corden, host of “The Late Late Show with James Corden,” butchers it brilliantly here.
“This one came from a user from Mary-land. Is that how you say it? Do you say Mary-land?” Corden asked musician Reggie Watts. He puts the emphasis on the "Mary."
“Maryland,” said Watts.
“What?” Corden said.
“Maryland,” Watts said again.
"Mary-land," James said again.. He then continued to get it wrong saying 'Marland” and “Mahralond," before settling on "Marlawn."
