Mick Jagger and Keith Richards have shared a lot of things: music, women, drugs, and a pair of pants.
A pair of green velvet pants were custom made for Mick in 1968, and he'd let Keith wear them whenever he wanted to. Neither one of them wore underwear so the pants got quite groady. (Channeling my inner valley girl with that word) ;)
The pants were then given to Keith's friendl, Gram Parsons when he came to stay with the band in the South of France as they recorded their double album, "Exile on Main Street."
Gram overdosed and died in 1973. The pants, which may or may not have been dry cleaned, are on the auction block now and could sell for more than $10,000.
