Judy Garland was sexually assaulted on the set of Wizard of Oz, according to her late husband Sid Luft.
The Hollywood icon's third husband blamed the Munchkins in a tell-all book, which was written before he died a decade ago.
He accused the little actors of repeatedly molesting Garland. She was only 16 years old he says, "They would make Judy’s life miserable on set by putting their hands under her dress. They thought they could get away with anything -- because they were so small."
Stories have been shared for decades in Hollywood about their bad behavior, including “orgies to gambling to prostitution.” Though the only living Munchkin denied the gossip saying, "How could you get drunk on $50 a week?"
Judy had disparaging words about the Munchkins. She said 30 years after making the movie, "They were little drunks. They got smashed every night, and the crew picked them up in butterfly nets."
Hollywood has a sordid history of mistreating child actors.
Sid Luft was married to Judy in the '50s and '60s. He was one of five husbands.
