GRAMMY AWARDS: Prince, George Michael Tributes

posted by @lisaontheradio -

Special tributes to Prince and George Michael will highlight Sunday night's Grammy Awards.

Wednesday morning's announcement didn't offer any details regarding performers or song selection.

Recording Academy CEO Neil Portnow says, "While each possessed a distinct style and sound, they were both adored by audiences worldwide. The passings of two such creative innovators were a huge loss for the creative community. The Recording Academy is humbled to pay homage to their tremendous legacies on the Grammy stage."

Both were previous Grammy winners -- Prince was a seven-time winner, while George earned a pair.

Who would you choose to perform a set of Prince's songs? Bruno Mars? Members of his backing bands?

Do you think Elton John might get involved with the George Michael segment?

Is there anyone else who died since last February who should be similarly honored?
