Styx guitarist James "JY" Young, who has gone seven-for-10 in picking the winners of this year's NFL Playoffs, is predicting a close Super Bowl on Sunday as the underdog Atlanta Falcons go up against the New England Patriots, four-time winners of the big game.
"I still think the fire is gonna burn deeper in the belly of the Falcons and I've been guilty in the last few rounds of picking with my heart and not my head, and I think Atlanta just maybe a little bit younger and and a little bit more fired up. And [Falcons quarterback] Matty Ryan, 'Matty Ice' as they call him, he's having a heck of a season and like all these Super Bowls tend to come down to the last five minutes, the last one minute of the game, and I'm gonna take Atlanta by a field goal."
If JY is correct, this will be Atlanta's first Super Bowl victory. They lost in 1999 to the Denver Broncos.
Kickoff is at 6:30 p.m. ET inside NRG Stadium in Houston. The game airs live on FOX.
