Sting kicked off his tour in support of his new album, 57th and 9th, Wednesday night at the Commodore Ballroom in Vancouver.
His 20-song set included seven tracks off the new disc, seven from his days in The Police, five from previous solo albums and a cover of David Bowie's "Ashes to Ashes" featuring his son, Joe Sumner, who is opening the show.
Up next is Portland, Oregon tonight, followed by shows in San Francisco on Sunday and Monday. This leg runs through March 14th in New York, followed by dates in Europe, Latin America and Asia through July 31st in France.
Sting will be at MGM National Harbor on March 12.
