Snow days were always the day we looked forward to when we would put on the TV and see if our school district was closed. It was a rite of passage. They were days we didn't mind getting up early and play in the snow.
However, now that we have all become accustomed to virtual learning and working from home, snow days as we know them may be a thing of the past.
ABC 7/WJLA's Kristen Powers talked to every school district in the DMV to get their answer.
Every school district in the DMV has a separate plan when it comes to snow days, however some of them are keeping mum on the situation. Others have issued statements that they are working on their plan.
