Millennials want to ban ‘Secret Santa’ because it ‘gives them anxiety’

Yikes!

Is this what it has come to now? Some Millennials want to end Secret Santa because they say it gives them anxiety.

From the New York Post:

According to a British Job-Hunting site called "Jobsite", millennials find the “Secret Santa” gift exchange to be anxiety-inducing — and Dr. Ashley Weinberg, a psychology lecturer at the University of Salford in Manchester, believes it is the fear of appearing “stingy” that makes the holiday tradition “stressful.”

The study from Jobsite found that 78% of millennials felt they contributed “more than they should” to an office party gift compared to 58% of the rest of the workforce, while 26% of millennials admitted to dipping into savings or over-drafting their accounts to fund an office gift. Nearly 17% reported that they “felt judged” by their co-workers for their choice of gift.

I think that can be a fair statement. I mean, do you wanna get a coworker something from the dollar store only for them to buy something from the electronics retailer?

On Fox News, some of the hosts actually agreed with this statement saying that we already spend enough money, and this just adds to it.
