Guess Who's Coming Back On The Road?!

The Who are coming back!

Pete Townshend confirmed that he and Roger Daltrey are working in 2025.

"I met with Roger for lunch a couple of weeks ago," Townshend said. "We're in good form. We love each other. We're both getting a bit creaky, but we will definitely do something next year."

Their last tour together was in 2023, when they used with strings for a more orchestral performance, this time Townshend says it'll be more stripped-down.

"The last big tours that we've done have been with a full orchestra, which was glorious," Townshend argues, "but we're now eager to make a noise and make a mess and make mistakes."

Townshend will perform in November at the Theatre Royal in London for a performance of The Seeker.

Pete Townshend & Elton John are joining the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra for a reimagining Siddhartha, the Herman Hesse tale of self-discovery and enlightenment.

"The Seeker", features music from Pete Townshend and classical composer Rachel Fuller, and named after the classic Who single from 1970. Siddhartha was written in 1922 and inspired the Townshend song The Ferryman, which was written for the production of Siddhartha staged at the Meher Baba Oceanic Centre in Twickenham.

The Seeker is now being released as a book and an album, with new versions of the song and The Ferryman are included. The book is narrated by the late Christopher Plummer and features Elton John, Layton Williams, Emeli Sande, Bollywood star Sunidhi Chauhan, South African singer Nakhane and the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra.

The album and book are out on November 7 and can be pre-ordered from theseekermusic.com. There will be a one-off performance at the Theatre Royal Drury Lane in London on November 6th.
