Glenn Tipton rejoined his Judas Priest bandmates on stages Tuesday night in Newark, New Jersey.
Tipton, who bowed out of the band's tour because of Parkinson's disease, came out during the band's encore to perform on "Metal Gods," "Breaking The Law" and "Living After Midnight." The appearance wasn't that much of a surprise, since Tipton joined the band at a signing for their new album Firepower in nearby New York City on Tuesday afternoon.
Tipton bowed out of the band's tour last month after revealing he'd been diagnosed with Parkinson's disease over four years ago. He's been replaced by Firepower producer Andy Sneap for the trek, which continues Thursday in Uncasville, Connecticut.
