FOO FIGHTERS' Dave Grohl Gives DC Fan a Shoe

Dave Grohl has given a Foo Fighters fan the shoe he wore when touring with a broken leg.

Grohl saw that Sabryn was on crutches during a backstage meet-and-greet in Washington, D.C. last week. He brought out his orthopedic doctor, who told her she'd need a shoe on her foot to recover fully from her injury. Sabryn tells Alternative Press, "I told him that my shoes didn't fit over it because it's pretty big and my shoes are kinda small. So Dave said, 'You need one of my big high tops!' and I laughed it off." Grohl then went to his dressing room to give her the shoe.

Sabyrn says she's not actually using it for a medical purpose, though. "I wore it for the rest of the night after Dave told me to put it on. It's definitely one of the coolest things to ever happen, and probably the funniest." She was at the show with her friend Kaydee, whose uncle was doing sound for the Foos, and that's who has the shoe now. "If you wanted to know what we did with the shoe, it's sitting on Kaydee's shelf in her room because we thought it would be a nice display piece."
