"Do ya think" he's serious?

Rod Stewart opened up about retiring from performing, seemingly confirming that his upcoming 2027 shows will be the last.

"I've got 40 odd shows this year, and I'm touring the United Kingdom next year, and that'll probably be it, I think," the music icon revealed to British sports network talkSPORT on Monday (May 18). Watch it here.

Notably, the 2027 shows that the "Do Ya Think I'm Sexy?" singer mentioned have not officially been announced yet. This year, Stewart is slated to play a mix of headlining shows and a run of Las Vegas residency dates.

In 2024, the singer declared that he was done with "large-scale world tours." However, he promised at the time that he would not yet retire.

"There's nothing like it [performing]," the legendary rocker continued telling the British network. "There's no drink, alcohol or drug that will give you that buzz, to see all those smiling faces out there... send them all home happy is just God's gift. It's wonderful."
