Elton John has released the trailer for his new documentary, Never Too Late, which not only follows on him on his Farewell Yellow Brick Road tour, but also looks back at his career with many of its ups and downs.
In the trailer, which you can see on YouTube, he looks back at some of his early success, but says, "At that time, there was an emptiness within me. My soul had gone dark … I didn’t have anything, apart from my success and drugs.”
Then of course there's his struggle in coming out of the closet, his family, all while leading up to his final U.S. show at Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles on November 22nd, 2022.
Never Too Late will be screened at the BFI London Film Festival on October 10th. Then it's on to theaters on November 15th before landing on Disney+ on December 13th.
