I'm thrilled that we have a decent number of Classic Rock artists inducted this year! I love that Ozzy, Foreigner and Peter Frampton will be inducted, and that Jimmy Buffett will be honored. (It would've been nice if he had been honored before he died.)
This is Ozzy's second election into the Hall, having been inducted with Black Sabbath in 2006. He becomes the 27th artist to achieve this honor along with Eric Clapton (3x), the four Beatles, Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young, Stevie Nicks, Paul Simon, Peter Gabriel, Curtis Mayfield, Ronnie Wood, Rod Stewart, Jeff Beck, Lou Reed, Tina Turner, Carole King, Jimmy Page, Dave Grohl, Michael Jackson, Clyde McPhatter, Johnny Carter, Gregg Rolie, and Sammy Strain.
