Paul Rodgers revealed today on CBS Mornings that he suffered 13 strokes since 2016. One that year was a major one, as was the one in 2019 that left him unable to speak and forced him straight into surgery to deal with plaque clogging his carotid artery.
And while it took a while for him to recover, he released last week Midnight Rose, his first album of original material since 2000.
Rodgers is the second member of Bad Company to suffer a stroke -- and both happened in the same year. Guitarist Mick Ralphs also had a major one in 2016 and has been sidelined since.
