According to a recent study, beards make men more attractive.
Researchers found that having a beard can accentuate the jawline -- and can help cover a weaker chin, acne scars or other issues that may make guys feel less attractive.
People often look for confidence in a partner -- and beards are seen as a sign of masculinity and a higher level of testosterone. Also, well-groomed beards are also associated with patience and maturity, as growing one takes time, commitment and consistency.
The study also showed that as facial hair length increases, men are increasingly viewed as more masculine.
