When it comes to the 'Greatest Acoustic Guitar Song of All Time,' the readers of Total Guitar magazine chose Led Zeppelin's 'Stairway to Heaven.'
To me, this is an unusual choice. While 'Stairway to Heaven' is a brilliant song, and has a beautiful acoustic guitar part to open the song, there's also a strong electric guitar presence on the song.
After 'Stairway to Heaven, readers voted Pink Floyd’s "Wish You Were Here" at two, the Eagles' "Hotel California" at three, Eric Clapton’s "Tears in Heaven" at four, and The Beatles’ "Blackbird" at five.
