DAVE GROHL: PERFORMS WITH GUNS 'N ROSES AT GLASTONBURY

Dave Grohl has often been called the hardest working man in music — and sometimes even in showbiz — and he lived up to that nickname this weekend at England's Glastonbury festival.

He and Foo Fighters boarded a commuter train from London to Bath Spa of Friday morning, then transfered to a mini-bus to the festival where the band did their long rumored "surprise" set under the name The Churn-Ups. They were given only a hour to perform and completed their nine-song set in slightly under that.

But Dave's weekend was just starting. On Saturday he joined the The Pretenders on drums for "Tattooed Love Boys," alongside another guest, former Smiths guitarist Johnny Marr, who played on the band's final six songs. But Dave wasn't done.

A little later in the evening he ambled on with his guitar to take part in the final song by the days' headliners, Guns n' Roses. That was "Paradise City," because, as Axl Rose told the crowd, "You can never have enough guitars." Grohl also added some backing vocals, sharing a mic with G n' R bassist Duff McKagan. There's film of the song from the BBC's festival livestream on YouTube
