I can't say I'm surprised by the death of David Crosby, but I am saddened.
He was 81 years old and has been an icon in music since the mid-60s, first with The Byrds, and then with Crosby, Stills and Nash (and CSNY).
He never stopped touring and recording new music, and would always check in on my show to share information about a new project, or a tour date he had coming up in the area.
He led an extraordinary life, which you can read more about HERE.
