LISA'S ANIMAL TALES: JUGHEAD RESCUED

A deer that's been wandering around an Indiana town long enough to earn a nickname from the locals has finally been corralled.

The deer was known around the town of Cannelton as "Jughead" because its head was stuck inside a plastic jug. It had been spotted multiple times over the course of a week, but somehow continued to elude rescuers. Finally, some police officers along with a local resident named Jimmy Maffia were able to track "Jughead" down and tranquilize him.

The plastic jug was removed from his head and he was safely returned back to the wild.
