David Lee Roth closed out 2022 with the release of another re-recorded Van Halen song and two episodes of his Roth Show podcast.

He posted his reworking of "Everybody Wants Some," which he recorded last May 3rd at Henson Recording Studio in Hollywood, California. Backed by Al Estrada on guitar, Ryan Wheeler on bass and Francis Valentino on drums, Roth recorded 14 songs in two hours. The music and the vocals were tracked live with "no samples" and without Autotune.

This is the fifth of of the 14 songs he's released following "Panama," "Ain't Talkin' Bout Love," "Dance the Night Away" and "You Really Got Me."

As for Roth's latest podcasts, episodes one and two of season two of The Roth Show, he did his usual nonsensical rambling, with a few things you could actually understand.

In episode one, that was his reminiscing about Eddie Van Halen.

Roth also recalled one of those songs, their only number-one, "Jump."

And on the health front, Roth said he recently had surgery on his arthritic big toe.
