Dolly Parton spilled the details on her rock album during an appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.
The album will be called Rock Star and feature guest appearances by some actual rockers, covers of classic rock songs, including Prince's "Purple Rain," Lynyrd Skynyrd's "Free Bird," Led Zeppelin's "Stairway to Heaven," and The Rolling Stones' "(I Can't Get No) Satisfaction," along with a few originals.
Rock Star will come out in the fall of 2023.
Dolly was inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame last month.
