Despite several health issues, Arlo does hope to come out of retirement next year to play some shows.
He retired in 2020 after having strokes in 2019. He tells Billboard, "I decided I could recuperate better in front of a live audience, rather than just sit at home, and [my wife and I] both agreed I should get back out there as part of my rehabilitation.”
The short tour, What's Left of Me -- A Conversation with Bob Santelli (former Grammy Museum Executive Director), will hit Boston; Albany, New York; and West Long Branch, New Jersey in April, and Stowe, Vermont in May.
Arlo married longtime girlfriend Marti Ladd on December 8th, 2021. And shortly after they were married, their car was sideswiped, but they were not hurt. They met in 2001 and started dating in 2013, a year after his wife of 46 years, Jackie, died from liver cancer.
