BRUCE SPRINGSTEEN: REVEALING DETAILS ON NEW ALBUM

Bruce Springsteen will announce the details of his new album -- a collection of soul covers -- tomorrow (Thursday) at 10 a.m. ET, and will release the first single.

He posted a short video on his socials showing an AM car radio and the dial turning to reveal some of the songs, including Frank Wilson's "Do I Love You," Tyrone Davis's "Turn Back the Hands of Time" and The Commodores' "Nightshift,"

Rolling Stone magazine co-founder Jann Wenner recently let slip that he's been listening to a new Springsteen album. And last week the very reliable Springsteen podcast None but the Brave reported that he'll release the long-rumored collection of soul covers on November 11th, with the first single coming this week.

Meanwhile another Springsteen site, Blog It All Night, says the rumored title is Only the Strong Survive and it contains 15 songs.

This will be his first studio album since 2020's Letter to You.

Bruce reportedly recorded it without The E Street Band, and he plans to play a few shows later this year before heading out with the band in February for a world tour.
